Hotel Margot was not my first choice. I had reservations elsewhere but had to change due to hurricane damage. Expedia was excellent in notifying me of the issue and helping me to find an alternate location on short notice. Hotel Margot reminds me of a well-kept 60's era beach motel. It is relatively well kept and clean. My check-in was delayed as the room was not ready by check-in time. The receptionist was very accommodating and apologetic. I have only 2 real complaints with the room - the shower was dark as there were no lights in the shower itself and the lights in the bathroom did a mediocre job of lighting it. My other complaint is one that seems to be becoming more common - the TV only really offered streaming services. Just trying to watch some local (or network) news was problematic and not worth the effort. Unfortunately, this is becoming all too common these days.

"An older motel that is adequately maintained. House keeping is only towel replacement unless more is needed by request. Mattresses are very questionable. Easy walk across the street to beaches. Beats having to pay parking at all the beach accesses. Pool was nice."
